Lance Bullen

Founder/General Partner

Lance Bullen is a founding partner of Salt Lake City Global Logistics Center and Colmena Group. Lance oversees deal-sourcing and raising equity, focusing on the guiding vision and investment strategies for the organization. Lance spends much of his time on strategic partnerships, economic development, investment underwriting and asset management. Lance has direct experience in multifamily, student housing, office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use developments and acquisitions.

In addition to his work at Colmena, Lance is also a principal member and founding partner of OZ Impact Funds, a $400 million private real estate opportunity zone fund that invests in manufactured housing across the United States.

Lance was foundational to the creation of SLC Global Logistics Center, a 3,000-acre master planned industrial zone located in northwest Salt Lake City. The project has an estimated entitlement value of 40 million developable square feet and is estimated to have at full capacity 30,000 FTE jobs. This project is a strategic partnership with the City of Salt Lake and the Utah Inland Port Authority which broke ground in 2019.

Outside of real estate, Lance is passionate about community involvement. He is one of the co-founders of what is now Cosecha Aquaponics, which was created in 2013 as an initiative to design an aquaponics system applicable for impoverished areas in developing countries.

Lance currently serves as a board member CHOICE Humanitarian.

As a lifelong Utahn, he enjoys many outdoor activities in the Salt Lake area with his wife, Emily, and four children.
